By using this service to get quotes or negotiate transactions through exchange4free and its partner companies you agree to the following terms and conditions.
Your Information
You will at all times ensure that the information you have provided in the exchange4free payments system is accurate and up to date. All fields that are marked as required must contain valid information. Attempts to mislead or misrepresent your information or information associated with your payees will be reported to the relevant authorities and lead to the immediate denial of access to the exchange4free website and exchange4free services. Exchange4free shall in no way, and under no circumstances, be liable for any damages or losses, including without limitation, direct, indirect, consequential, special, incidental, or punitive damages deemed or alleged to have resulted from or caused by the following scenarios:
Payments made to unintended Recipients or payments made in incorrect amounts due to the input of incorrect information by Senders;
for any fraud, deception or misrepresentations by Users, whether or not the User is verified in any manner;
any damages resulting from a recipient's decision not to accept a payment made through exchange4free;
any errors or omissions in the website content;
the misuse of the web site content or the inability of any person to use the site;
delays, losses, errors, or omissions resulting from failure of any telecommunications or any other data transmission system and the failure of the central computer system or any part thereof; any results of any acts of Government or authority, any act of God or force majeure.
Banking
To use this service you must have a bank account from which you will pay exchange4free or its affiliates any monies owed as a result of transactions completed through the Exchange4free website. Exchange4free does not accept cash into its accounts and does not accept bank, company or personal cheques.
Privacy
You agree that by using this service you authorise exchange4free and its Partners to pass on information to regulatory authorities as required by law. You contact information will not be sold to third parties.
Conversion of funds
On occasions the system may not allow exchange4free to perform conversions due to technical problems and exchange4free takes no responsibility for adverse exchange rate movements that occur during these outages.
Cleared Funds
Exchange4free will only perform the conversion once cleared funds have been received from clients. Exchange4Free will under no conditions pay out customer funds until cleared funds have been received from customers.
Once exchange4free has received your cleared funds and made the transfer it can not be cancelled. If the transfer has resulted from a genuine mistake, exchange4free will attempt to retrieve your money. If successful this will incur a minimum fee of £50.
The onus of proving such mistakes falls to the customers and must be communicated to exchange4free Ltd within 24 hours of supplying your funds.
Exchange4free is not open on Public Holidays. Cleared funds received on public holidays will be exchanged on the next business day.
Exchange4free will use its sole discretion when deciding the method by which these instructions will be transmitted.
In the event that exchange4free does not receive the funds within five working days of receiving your online transfer form the transaction will be considered void.
In the event that exchange4free receives cleared funds that are less than the amount instructed for transfer on the transfer form, the transaction will be deemed void. Exchange4free will hold the money and the onus will be on the customer to make contact with exchange4free and prove the funds are theirs. The return of any funds may incur a £50.00 fee.
Payment of Funds
Upon conversion, exchange4free will endeavour to pay client funds to the nominated beneficiary using the account details provided. Should this payment be returned due to incorrect account details or of the like, exchange4free accepts no responsibility for any fees taken out or any loss of interest during this period.
Identification
Exchange4free collects identification from customers prior to exchange4free paying out the proceeds of a client's transfer. In general we collect identification in the form of a copy of a passport and a utilities bill/bank statement showing your current residential address. Please provide a certified copy of your passport. The passport must be dated and signed 'Original seen' and can be certified by the following people: Post Master/Sub postmaster, UK Lawyer, Accountant, Banker, Teacher, Doctor or other authorised person. The person certifying the passport should be contactable so please write their contact details on the copy of the passport. This information can be faxed or emailed. We may conduct additional security checks on clients at exchange4free’s discretion. Attempts to mislead and deceive exchange4free and its employees will be automatically referred to the relevant authorities.
